TURN OFF MY MIND
Through the painted gate, just behind the fence, in the backyard of this little bohemian place, her silver trailer sits sheltered by a large tree.
It is a rather odd one, they say, it must be almost seventy years ago that this was the state of the art.
The heat and humidity is heavy, with only the occasional sea breeze providing some relief.
She wears an old fashioned flowery dress, the washed out blue has faded long ago.
She smells of daisies and mosquito repellent, her name is Maria.
How she came to be there no one knows, no history, no explanation.
Just her silver trailer. She waits for guests to keep her company, they say.
