Nude photo shoots on the beaches of Los Angeles are pretty tricky and not for the faint-hearted.
There are people around, lots of them and rangers and dogs, cats, mice, you name it.
Our plan was to get some risqué shots of Amber posing nude on the beach after sunset, with only the flash from my camera to light the scene.

When the last beachgoers finally left, we got right to work.
The scene was magical and sexy as hell.
After I had a few shots in the can, I noticed silhouettes of people sitting on the rocks above us out of the corner of my eye with each flash.
They also briefly saw Amber's silhouette against the dark beach with each flash.

We were getting a little nervous because it was pitch black by now and you never know who might suddenly appear out of nowhere. Exciting!
Amber gave it her all once again and rolled around in the sand for the photos.
The grainy nature of the sand added an interesting element to the photos, but also meant that Amber was soon covered from head to toe in the stuff.

We took a few quick shots and by the time we finished the shoot, Amber was struggling to get the sand out of every nook and cranny of her body.
I couldn't help but smile when I saw that Amber was now more sand than human.
As we drove away from the beach, Amber looked out the window and sighed. “Well, that was an experience I won't soon forget.”
I grinned and replied: "And neither will the people on the rocks. They got quite a show!"
