SHELTER
After a hot day, a storm looms on the horizon.
French photographer Guillaume Michel watched as the wind picked up, clouds gathered and the ruins of a Cathar castle were abruptly chilled.
He and supermodel Laure Surlerivage had been exploring and admiring the remains when the sky turned and it was time to get to shelter.
The stone walls of the castle seemed to whisper stories of times long past as Laure gently touched them.
They sensed the ancient energies of those who had come before them and let their imaginations fly with what once was.
Inspired by a deeper understanding of the things that come and go in our lives, they created intense and emotional photographs in this long-abandoned place.
