The volcanic sand was cool and yielding beneath her bare feet, black as midnight except where the retreating tide left it glistening, a temporary mirror reflecting the monochrome sky.
The allure of a black and white nude shoot on a black beach in Tenerife with topmodel Ksenia Lytvynova is undeniable.
The contrast of the stark black sand against her the pale, flawless skin creates a visually striking image that is both elegant and provocative.
It felt illicit, this nakedness, exposed against the stark canvas of rugged rocks and black sand.
Our photographer Laure Sevapore, who models herself, moved with almost predatory grace in search of the perfect angle, the most striking curve of Ksenia's body against the obsidian background.
The wind, carrying the faint tang of salt and something wilder, whipped through Ksenia's hair, pulling her further into the moment, into the sensation of raw, stark beauty.
